V.A. - untitled 21 (a juvenile tribute to swingin´ utters)

formed in 1988 in Santa Cruz, California The Swingin 'Utters have been one of the most important band in the scene of the east bay for over 20 years, at the beginning of her career were recognized as one of the best bands in the punk revival of the late 70's (Stiff Little Fingers, Sham 69, Eddie & The Hot Rods, The Damned, The Clash, etc.), but as well have been influenced by bands sounding Irish folk and Celtic (mainly The Pogues) as well at the time were of folk-punk precursors, ... its members are also involved in other musical projects, most notably the shares of Johnny Bonnel and Darius Koski at The Filthy Thieving Bastards, Druglords Of The Avenues with vocalist Spike Slawson, who is Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, drummer Greg McEntee played in the band Viva Hate and with Spike, Darius and recently joined the band Jack Dalrymple (Dead To Me, One Man Army) are the alignment of Re-Volt , so that they can see the family tree of the Swingin 'Utters is varied and prolific musically ... which regularly visit the blog will have already failed to realize the admiration I have for this band and all its projects, I could not stop posting this album project that was recently done, that charge is composed of 31 tracks with the participation of different types of bands, of different types of sub-scenes and as far away and distant as Israel and Sweden, such important bands like Useless ID, Dropkick Murphys, Cobra Skulls, Teenage Bottlerocket, Street Dogs, Teen Idols and people like Russ Rankin, ... the Swingin 'Utters perhaps may have started as a small band of working class east bay, but their music and attitude has scenes and transcended borders, so that the duty may be just a small sample of how relevant and inflyente was this band, so this is the way to the punk scene to thank these heroes of street- punk.
