f.a.n.t.a. & blitzkrieg boys - now i wanna sniff some sun (split)

now that we holiday season and going to the beach has arrived, I found good idea to present this split, between a pair of outstanding European bands Ramonero school students ... on one hand the FANTA Catalan band, band formed in 1999 in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwho give us 4 tracks of refreshing and fun English pop-punk very faithful to the style to which we have used in all records, including a English-language cover band The Riverdales with the theme "Back to you" (back to you on the other hand ),... Finns Blitzkrieg Boys, who are an institution in this cold northern country, and punk rock that have been practicing since the eighties, since 1985 to be exact, they define their sound as a cross between The Ramones, Cockney Rejects and Misfits This band presents a brief intro plus 5 topics that we can enjoy this unique style of guitar Ramonero, energy and attitude as the Cockney Rejects, with a voice similar to that of Glen Danzig on stage with Misfits ... in a nutshell This split presnete us to 2 very good bands, 10 tracks of good punk rock, some cover out there and a touch of summer, ideal soundtrack to go to the beach and combat these high temperatures with a few beers.

the flatliners - cavalcade

The Flatliners are a band formed in 2002 originally from toronto, canada, during the last 4 years have spent most of his time visiting cities of USA, Canada, Europe and Japan for concerts, thus building a solid fan base, with a sound that mixes the strength and energy of the classic Skatepunk 90's with the smart songwriting and emotive post-punk bands like The Replacements, Hot Water Music, ... after making his debut album "destroy to create" (full of items basically ska-punk), make the leap to the Fat Wreck, a company with which they released their next album called "the great awake" disc with a ska-punk sound but less influenced by a more melodic sound, completing the transition to a gang of energetic punk with modern edition of 7 inch called "Cynics" in late 2009 ... in 2010 we now have "cavalcade," his third studio album, if released by the Fat Wreck, where we show the cohesion and are reaching maturity as a band of punk rock; "cavalcade" in addition to being full of great songs, has numerous holdings of special guests, among which we mention members of bands like Cancer Bats, A Wilhelm Scream, Dillinger Four, The Snips, Junior Battles, Permanent Bastards, among others, in addition to the contribution of veteran capo Fat Wreck seal popularly known as Fat Mike, who made the dreams of these young teenage punks Canadians came true ... finally, I can only say that personally, this album seems to me the best of this band to date, an album that reflects the maturity that were on the road ... by way of bonus, I included the Ep "Cynics" with 3 tracks.

Birthday Sayings For 12year Old

V.A. - trash! (the roots of punk!)

've always thought that in life, you first have to learn from the past, our history, our origins, to better understand the present, to know which were the causes and circumstances that we are in the place we are now , and the music is no exception, speaking particularly of the history of punk, always mentioned 1976 as the year zero of punk, the year of the musical revolution with its slogans of "No Elvis, Beatles NO, NO Stones" preaching that the hippie attitude and his "Flower Power" was outdated, The Ramones recorded their first album that year, the Sex Pistols and The Clash giving his first concerts, featuring a new musical spectrum and changing the vision that young people the music had, until then, so that year is considered a musical revolution that continues to date and remains in place, ... but before the arrival of the Ramones, the Sex Pistols or the Clash, there were bands that influenced the protagonists of the revolution of 76, this collection of 15 tracks is a small sample of those who began to forge the path of this genre and for which there are many of our musical heroes of today, 15 tracks that influenced both musically in spirit to the class of 76, personally ... I think this compilation she needed some topic of MC5 and The Dictators, but still can find items that show musical birthplace of the punk stuff like elements glam (T. Rex, Mott The Hoople), some hard rock (Hawkwind, The Groundhogs), some pub rock (Eddie & The Hot Rods, The Feelgods) and of course proto punk (Iggy & The Stooges, New York Dolls) just to mention some of the different scenes and musical acts that are represented here, ... I recommend listening and note where it was taken directly took all that energy that characterized the punk and influenced a whole generation of teenagers around the world, as these are the musical roots of punk.
