Birthday Sayings For 12year Old

V.A. - trash! (the roots of punk!)

've always thought that in life, you first have to learn from the past, our history, our origins, to better understand the present, to know which were the causes and circumstances that we are in the place we are now , and the music is no exception, speaking particularly of the history of punk, always mentioned 1976 as the year zero of punk, the year of the musical revolution with its slogans of "No Elvis, Beatles NO, NO Stones" preaching that the hippie attitude and his "Flower Power" was outdated, The Ramones recorded their first album that year, the Sex Pistols and The Clash giving his first concerts, featuring a new musical spectrum and changing the vision that young people the music had, until then, so that year is considered a musical revolution that continues to date and remains in place, ... but before the arrival of the Ramones, the Sex Pistols or the Clash, there were bands that influenced the protagonists of the revolution of 76, this collection of 15 tracks is a small sample of those who began to forge the path of this genre and for which there are many of our musical heroes of today, 15 tracks that influenced both musically in spirit to the class of 76, personally ... I think this compilation she needed some topic of MC5 and The Dictators, but still can find items that show musical birthplace of the punk stuff like elements glam (T. Rex, Mott The Hoople), some hard rock (Hawkwind, The Groundhogs), some pub rock (Eddie & The Hot Rods, The Feelgods) and of course proto punk (Iggy & The Stooges, New York Dolls) just to mention some of the different scenes and musical acts that are represented here, ... I recommend listening and note where it was taken directly took all that energy that characterized the punk and influenced a whole generation of teenagers around the world, as these are the musical roots of punk.
