musically nothing better to start the year the return of Mike Ness and Social Distortion with ticket sales of their new album scheduled for January 18 ,..." hard times & nursery rhymes "is the title this new album, which is the first album that record in 7 years (since 2004 with "sex, love and rock & roll), the first with Epitaph Records and also the first with this lineup (Mike Ness, Johnny Wickersham, Brent Harding, David Hidalgo Jr. ),... for this "hard times & nursery rhymes," the band takes the musical direction rocanrolera orientation of their first albums (more specifically "prison bound" and "Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell" ), also maintains the majority of musical elements that have become one of my favorites of all time, as are the great Mike Ness ability to tell stories that convey emotion in abundance and those wonderful high-octane rhythm guitars, but this time do in a more polished and refined, but this album does not only stop there, but also incorporates new elements into the sound of the band, as would be a little bit of soul (especially in some backing vocals) and more pronounced use driving keyboard melodies in some songs ("Still Alive "),... throughout the album we hear a combination between subjects with wild streak that style (style soundtrack for a career in hot-rods of the 50's ) as well as slower tracks where Ness shows his ability to compose and sing about heartache of a broken heart ("writting on the wall") and even dares to make a cover of Hank Williams' "Alone And Forsaken", in short, Social Distortion shows once again his admiration for rock & roll of The Rolling Stones, country and rockabilly of Johnny Cash and Johnny Thunders punk among others, but they do it in a fresh way with his unique personal style with this solid new album that confirms one of the leaders of punk bands most long-lived, but most most important and emblematic of all time. download it aki: http://www.4shared.com/file/vlGnMGVc/SD_-_HardTimesNurseryRhymes.html
